Know your rights if stopped by Police
- Request to speak to an attorney as soon as possible.
- Do not answer any questions or make any statements without a lawyer being present.
- You should not participate in any field sobriety tests. (HGN or Pen test, ABC's, Balance Test)
- You have a right to refuse, or submit to the Breath Test. If you choose to submit to the test, you should request to be allowed to obtain an independent test as soon as possible.
If involved in a traffic an Accident:
- Do not answer any questions.
- Do not discussed the accident or anything involving the accident with anyone until you have spoken to a lawyer.
